Essential Matwork

The perfect starting place for beginners of Pilates. Read More

A great starting point for beginners or people who are recovering from an injury or prefer a slower pace. The Essential Matwork class teaches the Five Basic Principles of the STOTT PILATES method, and builds a foundation of exercises required to move on to the next level. This mat-based workout is designed to help participants develop leaner, longer-looking muscles, establish core strength and stability and heighten mind-body awareness. Props may be incorporated to add variety. Participants are welcome to stay in the Essential classes until they feel confident enough to enter the Intermediate class.

Intermediate Matwork

A brilliant workout, when you've learnt the basics and know what you're doing! Read More

Matwork classes at Intermediate level will provide a bigger challenge and take you through a dynamic, full-body workout that focuses on improving flexibility and core strength, with exercises that stretch and tone all muscle groups. Programming may vary from session to session to include: Stability Balls, Flex-Bands, Toning Balls, Fitness Circle®, and BOSU** balance trainers. Class capacity is eight participants.

Advanced Matwork

Hard work but worth it! Read More

This is a fast paced dynamic workout that's going to give every part of your body a work out. Due to the pace and flow of the advanced workout there are some requirements that have been put into place.

  1. You must be completely confident with the intermediate matwork.
  2. You must be able to complete intermediate exercises without any props i.e. Arc barrels, leg weights, blocks to sit on.

Core Challenge

This class will certainly challenge your core. A 60 minute full-body workout that focuses on improving flexibility and core strength with exercises that stretch and tone all muscle groups. Programming may vary from session to session to include, Stability Balls, Foam Rollers, Flex-Band* exercisers, Toning Balls, Fitness Circle® resistance rings, and BOSU** balance trainers. Class capacity is eight participants.

Essential Reformer

A great introduction to the awesome body-changing machines! Read More

This beginner's class introduces the Reformer, the most popular piece of Pilate's equipment. This class reviews the Essential Reformer repertoire and some Intermediate exercises. Start getting a great work out and all the benefits that come with working on the legendary Reformers from your first session. Like the Essential Matwork classes, this class is a slower pace. Participants will learn how to set up the Reformer and get an energising total-body workout. Participants are welcome to stay in the Essential classes until they feel confident enough to enter the Essential / Intermediate class.

Mat & Reformer

Perfect if you like a bit of both! Read More

This is a fantastic class if you can't manage to fit in both a Matwork and Reformer class within the week, as it combines the two into one class. We focus on your abdominals in the Matwork section followed by an energising workout and fabulous stretch on the Reformer. If you've not had any Reformer training, this is an ideal opportunity to see what these machines can do for your body.

Experience on the Reformer is better for this class but not mandatory.

Class capacity is eight participants.

Group Reformer

A brilliant workout, when you've learnt the basics and know what you're doing! Read More

Essential / Intermediate

Once you've taken a beginner Reformer course, you can move up to the Group Reformer class. These classes progress from Essential level to an Intermediate level. The pace is moderate, yet challenging and will tone muscles, strengthen the core and provide an invigorating total-body workout. Participants must take the beginner Group Reformer course or receive one to one training on the Reformer prior to taking this class, unless you have had previous training.

Class capacity is eight participants.

Advanced Reformer

Not for the faint hearted! Read More

This is a very challenging workout that requires experience on the reformers, as you will be using all that core strength you have built up to master the fun but tricky moves in this class.

Cardio Tramp / Matwork

Our super toning cardio-vascular workout! Read More

This is a great class with great benefits! For Mat Work lovers that feel they need a little extra, this is the class for you, combining traditional essential/ intermediate mat exercises with the Stott Pilates®Cardio tramp™. The Stott Pilates®Cardio tramp™sits at the end of your mat ready for you to start burning those calories, get the heart pumping and with the combination of both, you'll tone the whole body, see great results all whilst having lots of fun.

Cardio Reformer

The ultimate full body workout! Read More

The Cardio Reformer class will provide a full body workout from start to finish. The resistance of the Reformer will take you through a variety of exercises that challenges every part of your body. By then combining this with interval cardiovascular training, using the brand new Stott Pilates® Cardio Tramp™, you'll work the heart and lungs, burn calories and get an amazing fun packed 60 minute workout.
